These strawberry protein bites are easy, yummy, and simple to make. Plus they only require 4 ingredients and hardly any equipment — even your toddler could make it. This recipe is as easy as it gets. These yogurt bites are also low in calories and make a great sweet treat and on the go snack.
Highly Versatile
Another great benefit of this recipe is that they are very versatile and can easily be adjusted to fit your likes and needs.
Fruit
If you don’t have strawberries you can swap it for another fruit like blueberries or blackberries or you can even add dried fruit.
Yogurt
For a creamier version opt for 2% yogurt or full-fat yogurt. If you are vegan or prefer dairy free you can switch to soy yogurt, coconut yogurt, or similar options.
Here are my favorite yogurt brands:
Protein Powder
Add your favorite vanilla protein powder but if you prefer not to you can definitely take this ingredient out of the recipe and your yogurt bites will still be delicious. I just like to add protein powder to make this a higher protein snack.
Molds
I used a reusable heart shaped silicone mold but you can also use an ice cube tray or paper cupcake liners.
Here is the one I used for this recipe
These are definitely a staple in my freezer, especially during hot summer days!
